Doing More with Less: How to Thrive in the Public Sector as a Workplace Learning Professional Webcast, Association for Talent Development, April 12, 2019

I facilitated a webinar for the ATD Government Community to discuss how to equip federal workplace learning professionals (WLPs) in government to continue to thrive even during lean budget times. During the webinar, I encourage attendees to see the opportunities they have to add value to their organizations and ensure that employees and leaders have the knowledge and skills to perform at their best. Attendees shared best practices and ways that the talent development community can build skills while adding increased value to the organizations they serve.

Specifically, they:

• Explored the state of learning and development in the federal government.

• Identified what federal learners need.

• Recognized how the evolution of the workplace affects learning professional’s role.

• Created an action plan on how to do more with less.
